the platypus lives in Eastern Australia.they have webbed feet and a bill.the platypus weighs 1 to 2.4 kg.they live up to 12 years.their enemies are snakes ,goannas, rats and foxes.the male platypus is venermos it bites animals and people that hurt it.the baby platypus called a platypup. platypuses eat insects and fresh water insects. platypuses can grow up to 30cm to 45cm.they can stay under water for 10 mins.there tails can grow up to 10cm to15cm.
